Delicous, mouth-watering lentil-dumpling soup.

- 2 cans of lentil beans (14 to 16 oz each)
- 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
- Food base (optional)
- 1/2 chopped medium yellow onion
- Box of all purpose baking mix
- 1 teaspoon of Cumin

1. In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of all purpose baking mix with 2/3 cups of milk and stir. This is the dumpling dough.
1. Add onions, oil, cumin and food base to your soup pan and stir fry for 1 minuite or until flavors are blended
2. Add two cans of lentil beans and bring to a boil
3. Spoon dumpling dough (as many as you would like) into the boiling stew and cover
4. Once covered, allow to simmer for 12 to 15 minutes
5. Serve soup

The dumplings will be the size of the spoon you use, so, if you want small dumplings, use a small spoon
For the best taste, cook your own lentil beans from scratch vs. canned beans
