Breakfast Sausage Patties

Delicious, meatless breakfast patties! These make part of a tasty, nutritious breakfast meal.

Ingredients:

- 2 cups of textured vegetable protein
- 1 cup of whole wheat gluten flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 thyme
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or more if you like it hot!)
- 2 cups of water

Directions:

1. Mix all dry ingredients
2. Add water
3. Kneed like biscuit dough
4. If you like, roll dough out (1/4 inch think) and cut with small cup or top. You can also do this by hand or use any other shape as in picture above.
5.Spray bake pan with oil
6. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
7. Bake for 25 minutes or until brown

Tips:
To reheat, sprinkle with a tiny bit of water and use the microwave.
